We were very happy when the teacher said, that we could go to the “Winter Festival”. This festival was organized in school no. 8. We could hardly wait for Saturday to come. The days when we practiced were full of happiness, but sometimes it was very difficult. Our performance wa a little dance in a group of several couples. There were six couples: six boys and six girls from the 7th grades. Dancing together we learnt to work together. Since it was a traditional English dance we thought it would be best if we dressed accordingly. That’s why the girls were wearing long old-fashioned dresses or long skirts and the boys got dressed in costumes.
So the special day came and the festival opened its doors. Children arrived from all parts of the town with magical productions. Finally it was our turn. The problem for us was that we didn’t have enough space for the dance, but we still had fun and the audience enjoyed our performance. It was a pleasure taking part at this magical festival.
